Students may not have unlimited data or high speed internet (especially in rural communities), or may be sharing their computer with kids, family members or others who are also trying to work or go to school from home. We must design with that in mind (asynchronous vs synchronous, etc.) also, people are stressed about jobs, health, and family so we can’t necessarily expect them to maintain the same pace and rigor.
