NATIONAL FACULTY APPLICATION
NAEMSE Instructor Course Mentee Process
The purpose of the NAEMSE Instructor Course Mentee Process that was developed by the NAEMSE Education Committee Editorial Task Force, is to support the mentoring initiative identified in the 2018 NAEMSE Strategic Plan. The purpose of the process is to:
- Promote professional development as an EMS instructor.
- Promote consistency throughout course instruction.
- Ensure instructor faculty quality, accountability and credibility.
- Promote objective and meaningful observation for quality control.
- Mentor members for future leadership roles within the Association.
- Promote utilization of an evidence-based assessment that is technologically and professionally defensible.
- Promote fiscal responsibility to increase course availability by increasing the cadre of national faculty.
- Ensure candidates support the NAEMSE Mission and Core Values.
