What is the NAEMSE Level 1 Instructor Course?

The NAEMSE instructor course has been developed by NAEMSE for those educators who want to achieve the entry level knowledge of the Department of Transportation/NHTSA 2002 educational guidelines. This course will provide the instructor with tools and resources that can assist them to teach to the best of their ability. The content of this course aligns the NAEMSE developed modules with the curriculum objectives of the 2002 National Guidelines, and has been designed to provide a basic introduction of concepts for the beginning EMS educator.  Please click here for more information and locations of where the EMS Instructor course is scheduled to be held.

My school/organization wants to bring a NAEMSE Instructor Course in my area. How do I make that happen?

Assistant Director Jarred Kallmann is happy to assist with your request. Please send an email to j.kallmann@naemse.org with the  official location request form attached.

What is Symposium?

Symposium is an event that is held each year in different cities around the country. It is an opportunity for EMS Educators to come together and network with other EMS educators. Symposium consists of educational pre-conferences, post-conference, general sessions and break-out sessions that are presented to help the educator better their teaching skills and take those new ideas back to the classroom. It also gives attendees the chance to visit the trade show were EMS exhibitors will give you face to face information regarding their products.

I have a product that I would like to exhibit at Symposium. How do I do that?

NAEMSE welcomes any exhibitor that wishes to exhibit their product at the yearly symposium. What is important to know is that space at our symposium will give you access to EMS educators who are not only influential to the thousands of students that they instruct, but also have the purchasing power to approve buying of products they feel will benefit their teaching skills. Space is limited and it does fill up fast.

What exactly are these committees that are listed on the website? Can I join one?
