(CLOSED) Board of Directors Mentoring Scholarship

Created by the NAEMSE Board of Directors, this award provides a comped registration for nine (9) NAEMSE members for the main three days of the Annual Educator Symposium & Trade Show in Fort Worth, TX this Sep. 3-5. The awards are based upon a financial need to attend this year's event. Each awardee is assigned a Board of Director mentor for the symposium.

(CLOSED) iSimulate Educator Memorial Scholarship
 

This scholarship is to honor the legacy of all EMS educators who have served and are no longer with us. iSimulate and the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) is honored to sponsor this scholarship by providing financial support and educational opportunity for a potential or current EMS Educator unable to attend an instructor course, within their region, without financial support.


This Award Provides:

  • Travel arrangements to attend a NAEMSE instructor course (up to $400, or mileage per Federal rate).
  • Three nights of accommodations (up to $400).
  • Instructor Course registration costs. 

Deadline: 30 Days Prior to the Start of the Instructor Course

(CLOSED) Richard Beebe / CAPCE Educational Scholarship

The Commission on Accreditation For Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) in collaboration with the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) announce an annual scholarship for NAEMSE’s Level One Instructor Course at the NAEMSE Symposium in memory of Rich Beebe, past NAEMSE Board of Director. Rich passed away on June 5, 2016.

Rich Beebe was a nationally known author, renowned EMS educator and an icon in New York State EMS.  Rich was a member of the State EMS Education and Training Committee and Board Member of NAEMSE as well as NAEMSE’s appointed Liaison to the CAPCE Board of Directors. He was well known for his vibrant persona, teaching style, knowledge and professionalism. His efforts on behalf of NAEMSE and CAPCE were of great benefit to EMS providers across the nation.

This Award Provides:

  • Course fees for the Instructor Course Level 1

(CLOSED) James O. Page Award

To honor the legacy of James O. Page, the National Association of EMS Educators is honored to hold its annual James O. Page Memorial Award, providing financial support and educational opportunity for an EMS Educator unable to attend the Annual Symposium and Trade Show without financial support.

This Award Provides:

  • Travel arrangements to attend the 23rd Annual Educator Symposium and Trade Show. (Arranged by NAEMSE staff)
  • 3 nights of accommodations at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
  • Waived symposium Registration (Pre or Post Conferences Not Included).

Legends That Walk Among Us Award

A strong belief is held that the EMS community needs to honor those men and women who have helped shape EMS education nationally. This award allows us to thank those individuals who have, and who continue to, mentor us, motivate us, and inspire us through their commitments to EMS education.

This Award Provides:

  • Paid travel to the 2019 Symposium in Fort Worth, TX (Arranged by NAEMSE staff)
  • 3 nights stay at the Omni Hotel
  • Waived symposium registration fee (excludes pre and post-conferences)
  • Recognition award during an official presentation at the General Membership meeting

Unsung Hero Award

Know an instructor who has made a difference in your life? Have a colleague that is extraordinarily dedicated to EMS Education? Here is an opportunity to recognize those individuals for their selfless commitment to EMS Education. This award is given to someone who, although not nationally known, makes an incredible difference in the lives of those he or she teaches. This individual is nominated by peers, students and colleagues in appreciation of his or her dedication to EMS education. 

This Award Provides:

  • Paid travel to the 2019 Symposium in Fort Worth, TX (Arranged by NAEMSE staff)
  • 3 nights stay at the Omni Hotel
  • Waived symposium registration fee (excludes pre and post-conferences)
  • Recognition award during an official presentation at the General Membership meeting

Fallen Heroes Award

The Fallen Heroes award was created to honor individuals in EMS Education who, though no longer with us, had an incredible impact on the EMS education community.
